About Al Rich's style:

My art focus is primarly realism and many of my pieces are started with rough notan sketches on site and finished by photographs in my studio.  I utililze archival panels, canvases or boards for most of my work.  Portraiture is done on Belgium fine linen gessoed canvases.

 

 

Art Education: 

Since the age of 10, mostly self taught.  In 2009 he attended courses by Arnold Desmarais.  Al has participated in a Master's Program with world renown Barry John Raybould. He also has attend  workshops with artists like William Davis and Joe McGurl.
